It takes 1 hour and 45 minutes to drive from Cancun International Airport to Outsite Tulum.
Private Taxi (1 hour and 45 minutes, from $167 USD)
There is no Uber or Lyft in this part of Mexico at the time of writing. However, private shuttles/taxis are available, and cost $100 USD one way or $175 round trip. Select Outsite as your location drop off and you'll arrive at Restaurant Loco. Outsite is located just behind the restaurant.
There's also a shared shuttle service which starts at $35 USD per person one way and will take you all the way to Outsite from the Airport. Keep in mind that there is a 2 person minimum, and they don't offer round trips.
Bus + Taxi (3 hours, $23-$35 USD)
The ADO bus departs the airport to Tulum downtown for $16 USD each way. Once in Tulum, you can take a taxi to Outsite which will take about a half hour, and should be $20 - $25 USD max. You can buy your tickets and look at the bus schedules here.
There are 4 parking spots available for Outsite Tulum guests for $10 USD per day. You can also find paid parking across from Dos Ceibas Restaurant, which costs 200 MXN per day ($10 USD). The Dos Ceibas lot closes around 9 PM, which means you cannot leave or arrive after that time.
Outsite Tulum is within walking distance to many restaurants, bars and cafes along Tulum beach. If you would like to explore more of Tulum, Coba and the surrounding cenotes, we would recommend renting a car.
Exploring Tulum on Foot or by Bike
It takes 5 minutes to walk to the beach on foot from Outsite, through Dos Ceibas. You can reach plenty of cafes and restaurants on foot from Outsite, however, the most common way to get along the beach road is by bike.
The ADO bus schedule links Tulum with Coba, Bacalar and Cancun. Collectivos are the 'local' way to get around Tulum - these are the white mini buses, stopping along the beach road and throughout town.

There is a mini market located 5 minutes walk north from Outsite. For groceries or toiletries, Chedraui is the largest supermarket and located in Tulum town; you will need to take a taxi to get there.
We recommend you get cash at the airport or in Tulum town prior to arrival - Scotiabank and HSBC have reliable ATMs. Cash is widely used in the beach area as well in Tulum town.
