Tell us a bit about yourself:

After a long time of working to maintain a very comfortable life, I realized that I wasn't fulfilled and wanted more. I decided to part with my material possessions, make some big changes, and travel the world looking to build meaningful connections and make lasting memories. This eventually guided me towards the digital nomad community and helped me get to where I am today.

What are you working on currently?

I've just joined a startup in Dallas called NicksonLiving.com as Chief Product Officer to help them automate their process and raise Series B. Once I get the new roadmap approved in January, I'll be back on the road and working remotely.

What's next for you?

One day I would like to leave the tech world and learn physical skills like fixing houses and pick up a couple of new languages as I continue to travel around the world.

Tell us about your experience with Outsite so far.

I loved the setup in Lisbon so much – work friendly cafe right on the first floor, great food and drinks at cheap prices all around, fun people to hang out with, all the exciting activities and beautiful sceneries that are close by.

Do you have any tips or recommendations that have helped you navigate the nomadic lifestyle?

  • When you go somewhere, try to stay for at least 2 weeks to really feel what it's like to live there.
  •  Freedom comes with price. You better be willing to work around the clock as needed.
    ‍

What's got you excited these days?

I'm hoping I can actually pull off the responsibilities I have been given at this new job. At this point, I'm not sure if I'm excited or terrified, but we'll see!
