Top 50 Companies Hiring for Remote Positions
Here is a New Year's resolution for you: stop the 9 to 5 and become a digital nomad to experience increased productivity and a great work-life balance.
The new year is upon us, and many of us are resolving to make changes for the better in our lives. As we spend much of our time working, or thinking about work - changing jobs can create a major shift in your life.
As advocates of the digital nomad movement, we Outsite reccommend that your next job be remote.
With the dramatic changes in the employment landscape in recent years, more people are looking to work from home and find freelance work. Better time management, reduced down time, cut down costs, increased productivity, low stress levels and a great work-life balance are some of the common advantages of work from home jobs that add to their popularity. The flexibility of working from home has become an appealing solution for a wide range of people — from parents and semi-retirees, to millennials who are looking for a better work-life balance. Jobs that offer the flexibility of working remotely, used to be rare — available only to people in certain roles or specific situations. However, in 2018 with the rise of technology, along with new trends in the workplace environment and culture, there promises to be a record number of companies offering an increasing number of both remote full-time jobs and remote part-time jobs.
According to a new report from job search website FlexJobs, “for a variety of reasons, experienced professionals sometimes don’t want or can’t commit to a full-time, in-office job. Working part-time, and being able to do so from a convenient home office, is a fantastic solution.
Leading up to the new year, FlexJobs has compiled an updated list of remote jobs, including freelance, flexible and part-time opportunities, released a new list of the top 50 companies hiring for work-from-home positions.
The new report found that the types of jobs these companies are offering range from entry-level up to senior-level management — across a variety of different industries.
