The New 9-5: Outsite and SafetyWing Giveaway

1. Overview

The "The New 9-to-5" Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) is organized by Outsite and SafetyWing. By entering the Giveaway, participants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. This Giveaway is void where prohibited by law.

2. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open to individuals who are at least 21 years old at the time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, agents, and representatives of Outsite and SafetyWing, as well as their immediate families and household members, are not eligible to participate. The Giveaway is open to digital nomads, remote workers, freelancers, and anyone capable of working remotely for an extended period. SafetyWing and Outsite are not responsible for any job-related implications due to participation in this program.

3. Entry Period

The Giveaway begins on October 3rd 2024, at 12:01 AM PST and ends on October 10, 2024, at 11:59 PM PST (the "Entry Period"). Entries received outside the Entry Period will not be considered.

4. How to Enter

Participants must enter the Giveaway by submitting their email address via the official Giveaway page at outsite.co/the-new-9-to-5. Participants can double their chances of winning by entering a friend’s email address (optional). By submitting an email, participants agree to create an account with both Outsite and SafetyWing. Entry is limited to one submission per person. Multiple entries, including those submitted under different email addresses, will be disqualified. If a winner is found to have submitted multiple entries, all entries will be voided, and the prize will be withdrawn.

5. Prize

One (1) winner will receive a two-week workation for themselves and one (1) friend at any Outsite location of their choice, subject to availability and blackout dates. The prize includes separate rooms for the winner and their friend. The prize also includes two (2) weeks of Nomad Insurance coverage for both the winner and their friend. The total value of the prize is estimated between $3,000 and $4,000. Please note: The prize does not include flights, meals, or any other expenses. The prize is subject to the terms and conditions of Outsite, including but not limited to blackout dates and room availability. The winner will have six (6) months to travel to the selected location and may stay for a minimum of five (5) days or a maximum of fifteen (15) days. Any additional days will not be covered by SafetyWing or Outsite. The prize cannot be transferred or gifted to another person if the winner is unable to attend the selected co-living location for any reason.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

The winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The drawing will take place on October 11, 2024. The winner will be notified via the email address provided during entry within five (5) business days following the drawing. If the winner does not respond within fourteen (14) days, an alternate winner may be selected at the sole discretion of the organizers. The winner’s name will be shared with all participants for transparency. The winner will be announced publicly. SafetyWing and Outsite are not responsible for incorrect or invalid information provided by the winner.

7. Conditions of Participation

By entering the Giveaway, participants agree to the following: Outsite and SafetyWing have the right to contact participants and the friend whose email address was provided with information related to the Giveaway. The prize is non-transferable, and no cash or other substitutions will be offered except at the sole discretion of the organizers. By entering, participants agree that the provided email address will be used for registration to SafetyWing's and Outsite’s newsletters and may be used for marketing purposes, including promotional communications and subscription updates.

8. Personal Information

Any personal information provided during the course of the Giveaway will be used in accordance with the privacy policies of Outsite and SafetyWing. By entering the Giveaway, participants agree to the collection, use, and sharing of their information for the purpose of administering the Giveaway and marketing communications.

9. Limitation of Liability

Outsite and SafetyWing are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical failures, unauthorized human intervention, or any other errors or problems related to the Giveaway.

10. Visa Requirements

SafetyWing and Outsite will not be responsible for the winner’s visa or any related procedures. If the winner is unable to obtain a visa for the selected location, the prize location cannot be changed. The winner is responsible for any costs or procedures related to their visa application.

11. General Conditions

Outsite and SafetyWing reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond their control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway, as determined by the organizers in their sole discretion. Any changes will be communicated to participants as soon as possible.

12. Governing Law

This Giveaway is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.
