Airport Transfer
Driving by Car
It takes 35 minutes to drive from the Airport to Outsite.
Uber/Lyft/Taxi
Uber/Lyft (40 minutes, $50)
An Uber or Lyft from the Airport to Outsite costs approximately $50 one-way.
Public Transit
Bus and Rail (2 hours 15 minutes, $20)
From Terminal 1 Baggage Claim, take the 992 Downtown Bus. Get off at Broadway/Kettner Blvd. Walk 1 block to the San Diego Santa Fe Depot and take the Pacific Surfliner north. Get off at the Solana Beach Station and board the 101 Oceanside Bus. Get off at the High 101/Avocado Street Stop. Outsite is a 5-minute walk from here.
Please double check the Pacific Surfliner schedule; they are operating on a reduced schedule due to Covid-19.
Parking
There are 3+ parking spots available in the driveway. You can also park along Avocado Street, but please do not park along Lorraine Drive.
Getting Around
Exploring on Foot
There are many nearby beaches you can reach within a 5-10 minute walk of Outsite. There are also many cafes, restaurants and shops within walking distance along Hwy 101.
Exploring Downtown Encinitas
Downtown Encinitas is just down the road from Outsite. Options for reaching the downtown area include:
- Ride Share (8 minutes, ~$6)
- Biking (13 minutes)
- Public Transportation: 101 Bus (15 minutes, $2.50)

Groceries
Just Peachy market on Hwy 101 is a 10-minute walk or 5-minute bike ride from Outsite. Lazy Acres and Ralph’s are 10 minutes by car.
Nearest Bank
Credit cards are accepted at most places, and the closest ATM is a 10-minute walk from Outsite at the 7-Eleven on Hwy 101.

Laundry & Cleaning
Common areas are cleaned one time per week.
There is a complimentary monthly room cleaning for monthly stays available upon request.
Washer, dryer, laundry detergent, iron, and ironing board are available.
To schedule a room cleaning or request fresh towels, please submit a request through the Outsite App or contact your Community Manager. Additional cleanings or towel requests may be subject to a fee. For further details, contact your Community Manager or Guest Services Support (reservations@outsite.co) and they will be happy to assist.
Food & Drink
There is a fully equipped kitchen ready for use, complete with filtered water, organic tea, coffee, and sugar.
Boards, Bikes & Fitness
Surfboards, wetsuits, and bikes are not provided at this Space.

For extensions or general enquiries, please email reservations@outsite.co.
To add an extra guest to your reservation, it is $15 per night in locations outside of Europe, and €13 per night for locations in Europe. There is a 2-night minimum stay for extra guests. Please email the Reservations Team to register your guest ahead of time.
