Airport Transfer
Driving by Car
Augusto Cesar Sandino International Airport - ACS
It takes 2.5 hours to drive to San Juan del Sur from Augusto C. Sandino Airport (Managua).
San Jose Airport - SJO
If you're heading to San Juan del Sur from San Jose Airport, you'll need to head to San Jose Downtown, then catch the Tica Bus to Peñas Blancas. This bus takes 4 hours, and leaves twice daily. Once in Peñas Blancas, you'll cross the border into Nicaragua. Keep in mind it's required to pay $13.00 when going through passport control here. From the border, it takes 41 minutes to drive to San Juan del Sur, and costs between $30-40.
Liberia - LIR
Liberia is an airport in the north of Costa Rica. It costs U$100 (for 2 people), and takes 1.5 hours to drive from Liberia to Peñas Blancas. Once in Peñas Blancas, you'll cross the border into Nicaragua. Keep in mind it's required to pay $13.00 when going through passport control here. From the border, it takes 41 minutes to drive to San Juan del Sur, and costs between $30-40.
Uber/Lyft/Taxi
Taxi (2 hours 30 minutes, $90+)
A taxi from Managua Airport to Outsite San Juan del Sur is $90 one-way.
We do not recommend taxis, we recommend that you book private transportation. To book private transportation, contact sanjuandelsur@outsite.co at least 48 hours in advance.
Public Transit
Bus (4 hours, $15)
Take a taxi from Managua Airport to Roberto Huembes (the central bus station), then catch a bus to San Juan del Sur. The walk from the bus stop to San Juan is 10 minutes, and taxis are available.
We do not recommend public transit, we recommend that you book private transportation.
Parking
Parking is available at Outsite.
Getting Around
Outsite San Juan del Sur is in a walkable and bike-friendly location, close to cafes and shops. However, if you're planning to surf regularly, you may find it easier to rent a car to reach the beaches.
Exploring San Juan del Sur on Foot
You can easily reach nearby restaurants and cafes on foot. La Tostaderia is 7 minutes walk from Outsite, and makes some of the best breakfasts in San Juan del Sur. Please note that while it is walkable during the day, we do not recommend walking alone at night.
Public Transport
Taxis and shuttles are available to take you to nearby beaches. These cost around $10 one-way.
Scooters and ATVs
Scooters and ATVs make it easier to visit the surrounding area. They cost $60-120 per day. Contact your community manager to arrange a vehicle.

Groceries
Super X Press is a basic supermarket with meat, produce, alcohol, and toiletries. Miscelania has plenty of items imported from the U.S. Casa Oro hosts a farmers market every Saturday morning, and there are almost always vendors selling fresh fruit around town.
Nearest Bank
La Santa Maria ATM is a 5 minute walk from Outsite. There are also a few ATMs located inside of Super X Press. Most places don't accept cards, so we suggest taking money out in bulk to avoid multiple transation fees.
Mail and Packages
Mail and Packages cannot be received in this Outsite location.
Laundry & Cleaning
Common areas are cleaned two times per week.
There is a complimentary weekly room cleaning for weekly and monthly stays available upon request.
Washer, dryer, laundry detergent, iron, and ironing board are available.
To schedule a room cleaning or request fresh towels, please submit a request through the Outsite App or contact your Community Manager. Additional cleanings or towel requests may be subject to a fee. For further details, contact your Community Manager or Guest Services Support (reservations@outsite.co) and they will be happy to assist.
Food & Drink
There are snacks and smoothies for purchase at the Clubhouse, located on-site and open from 7AM - 9PM. If you would like a full breakfast or meal you must go to town or have food delivered.
Boards, Bikes & Fitness
Yoga Mats
Yoga mat are available in the Space on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Bikes and Boards
Bikes and surfboards can be rented from shops located in town.
Gym
There is a gym with free weights and cardio machines on-site. Members have access to this gym.

Reservations Team
For extensions or general enquiries, please email reservations@outsite.co.
To add an extra guest to your reservation, it is $15 per night in locations outside of Europe, and €13 per night for locations in Europe. There is a 2-night minimum stay for extra guests. Please email the Reservations Team to register your guest ahead of time.
