An experience in and of itself, this coffee shop is on the ground floor of an old colonial home in Old San Juan with patio seating. It's a popular spot, so try to get there early. Their coffee is great and comes from a hacienda in Yauco that has been in the owner's family since 1846. They also serve breakfast, lunch, and pastries.

Ocean Park

Escambrón Beach
One of the nicest beaches in the city, and usually not quite as busy as others, this beach attracts surfers. Enjoy views of the 17th century fort in the distance. Snorkel or scuba dive at their marine park and you might just see some sea turtles, octopuses, and tropical fish.
Hobie Beach
