San Miguel de Allende is very walkable, and it's the best way to see the city. Taxis are widely available if it's too hot, or raining, but generally there's a temperate climate. Due to the nature of this small, traditional city, there are not many options for parking in the centre.

However, the number of drivers can be limited, especially during busy times, so it’s a good idea to plan ahead if you’re relying on Uber for transportation.
