I’m currently working in a quantitative trading firm, making statistical models and machine learning algorithms that we use to trade financial markets around the world. My background is in AI (long before it became a buzz word) and the work allows me to be remote and generally flexible with my hours.

I started working remotely in 2017 when I decided to escape the London corporate life that was slowly draining my soul. I realized the kind of work I do can be done from anywhere with an internet connection.
Initially, I relocated to Bali and later Australia, but over time I’ve returned closer to Europe and developed a bit of a migration pattern approach to nomading.
I typically spend winters in Portugal or Morocco and summers moving between Norway, the UK, and Central Europe.
This lifestyle has allowed me to develop deeper roots in the places I regularly visit, which is something all nomads I know have eventually come to struggle with if they’re on the move long enough.
One of my favourite Outsite locations has been Madeira. This island truly feels like the Hawaii of Europe, with its rugged mountains and lush jungle landscapes. The Outsite in Madeira is nestled within a beautiful local village, creating a fantastic community atmosphere that made my stay unforgettable. Additionally, I cherished my time at the original Outsite location in Bali back in 2019..

My most recent trip was to Arizona, which was a first-time visit for me. I loved exploring the diverse landscapes, from deserts to rugged mountain terrain, hiking stunning trails, and even hiring a small aircraft that allowed me to fly myself up to Sedona and over the Grand Canyon - an unforgettable experience.
My laptop, easily my most important piece of gear. Because my responsibilities rarely pause entirely - whether it’s my main job or business side ventures - I don’t do the typical distinction between “holidays” and “work.” Instead, I’m happy that I’ve crafted a lifestyle flexible enough to allow me to blend meaningful work with adventure and fun on my own terms.
