Airport Transfer
Driving by Car
International flights to the region arrive at either San Jose (SJO) or Liberia (LIR) which would both require a transfer into Santa Teresa, we highly recommend taking a regional flight into Cobano (ACO).
Regional Flights start at: 175 USD | Estimated travel time into Cobano (ACO): ~1h15
Regional Shuttle Buses start at: 55 USD | Estimated travel time into Santa Teresa: ~6h
Private Taxi starts at: 350 USD | Estimated travel time into Santa Teresa: ~5h
Taxis from Cobano (ACO) to Outsite Santa Teresa Maramar start at 65 USD
You may rent a car at any of the above airports.
Uber/Lyft/Taxi
San José Airport - SJO (5 hours, $240)
Taxis from San José to Santa Teresa start at $240.
Uber and Lyft are not available at present.

Public Transit
San José Airport - SJO (8 hours, $10)
You can reach Santa Teresa from San José Airport by taking the 200 bus to San José city center, then catching the daily 2PM bus to Santa Teresa. Contact your community manager for more details.
Cobano Airport - COB
There is no public transport between Cobano Airport and Santa Teresa.
Parking
There are two lots provided for parking at Outsite Santa Teresa Maramar. There is a small lot at the entrance of the house for ATVs & Motorcycles. Below the house, there is 1 row of parking closest to the house for SUV’s.
Parking for ATVs is above in the small entry lot, all cars/SUVs need to be parked in the lot below the side closest to the house. Please do not park on the street.
Getting Around
Exploring Santa Teresa on Foot
It's not easy to explore Santa Teresa without a vehicle, and the road from the entrance to Outsite Santa Teresa is steep, so renting a car or ATV to get around is highly recommended. You can reach the beach, the grocery store and a few cafes/restaurants on foot, but this can become uncomfortable, especially during the hot season.
Uber & Taxis
Uber/Lyft/Rideshare apps are not available in Santa Teresa, but Taxis are readily available throughout town and your Community Manager can provide you with WhatsApp Contacts. There is no set pricing for Taxis in Santa Teresa. Upon arrival at Outsite, ask your driver to take you all the way to the house at the top of the hill.
Car & ATV Rental
ATV Rental can be arranged by your community manager - During the months of November to March we recommend arranging prior to arriving as it is high season. Depending on the time of year and size of ATV prices will vary from 50 USD to 80 USD per day with long term pricing available. Car Rentals are available in town but have limited availability. We recommend renting only vehicles with 4WD.

Groceries
The closest grocery store is Super La Hacienda, 300 metres north of the entrance to Outsite Santa Teresa.
Nearest Bank
The closest ATM is in Super La Hacienda, at the bottom of the hill.
Mail and Packages
You cannot receive mail or packages at Outsite Santa Teresa.
Laundry & Cleaning
Common areas are cleaned three times per week.
There is a complimentary weekly room cleaning for weekly and monthly stays available upon request.
Your stay also includes one complimentary laundry load per week. The cleaning team will return the laundry within 48 hours.
To schedule a room cleaning or request fresh towels, please submit a request through the Outsite App or contact your Community Manager. Additional cleanings or towel requests may be subject to a fee. For further details, contact your Community Manager or Guest Services Support (reservations@outsite.co) and they will be happy to assist.
Food & Drink
All Members have access to a fully equipped kitchen.

To add an extra guest to your reservation, it is $15 per night in locations outside of Europe, and €13 per night for locations in Europe. There is a 2-night minimum stay for extra guests. Please email the Reservations Team to register your guest ahead of time.
