What is location independence / flexibility?
Location independence refers to the degree to which one's professional life ties them to a particular physical place.
Being location independent means one does not need to be in a particular location, usually for work. Location flexible is similar, but for people who perhaps have some commitments or reasons to be in a particular place some of the time.
Most people who identify as location independent leverage mobile technology to allow them to work outside a traditional office. Location independent/flexible people are often entrepreneurs or freelancers, but 60% of Outsite users are actually in full-time remote roles.
