Location
São Miguel is the largest of the nine Azorean islands and still feels like a secret — crater lakes, year-round hot springs and basalt cliffs shaped by the Atlantic. Fenais da Luz sits on the quieter north shore: close enough to Ponta Delgada for dinner, far enough that the loudest thing outside is the weather. The coastal trail starts nearby, and the airport is just fifteen minutes away.
