2019: Outsite's Year in Photos

Look back on the past year at Outsite with us through these photos. 2019 was a big year for us, full of exciting firsts and new launches!

Our first launch of the year was a huge deal for us – our first location in South America. Meet Outsite Santiago, Chile. 

We hosted a bunch of community events at all of our locations, ranging from happy hours to beach yoga to gardening days – like this one at Outsite Pleasure Point, Santa Cruz. Expect way more events like these in 2020!

We announced our Santa Teresa, Costa Rica location – Outsite's first custom built surf lodge overlooking the Pacific. 

Another first for Outsite was a location in France. Outsite Biarritz is on the French Basque Country coast. Bonus: Biarritz just so happens to be the birthplace of surfing in Europe. 

We had a fun team retreat at Outsite Lake Tahoe...can’t beat retreats with views like this.

Launches on launches on launches! In July we announced three new locations opening over the summer: Ericeira, Portugal, a second location in San Francisco, and a fourth Venice location. 

We opened a second location in Encinitas, Outsite Neptune, a surf lodge with panoramic views of the ocean and direct beach access.

We hosted our first Outsite Unplugged retreat, where participants went offline and got in touch with nature on an epic VW van trip to Big Sur. New adventures and new friendships ensued.

In line with our sustainable values, we began a partnership with non-profit One Tree Planted. Now, one Outsite booking equals one tree planted in California, Indonesia, or Chile. Every booking contributes to reforestation. 

Our first Mexico location was announced, in the trendy beach paradise of Tulum, Mexico.

We opened the Outsite Cowork Cafe as an extension of Outsite Lisbon. The cafe has a full barista brewed coffee menu, breakfast items, plus wine and cocktails for after you get the job done (or to get you through the work day...we won’t judge).

Our second Hawaii location opened up in Oahu's Sunset Beach, one of the best surf spots on the North Shore.

Outsite Los Angeles branched out from being only in Venice, opening a location slightly north in Santa Monica. Our new sleek, minimalistic space is on coveted Montana Avenue, which is full of restaurants, cafes, and shopping. 

Members and guests love our Venice locations so much that we added another! Venice Beach - West Dell, which is right next to our existing Dell location, making it our fifth space in Venice.

We traded Black Friday for Green Friday, where we planted 10 trees for each booking made over Black Friday weekend. We ended up planting 360 trees! 

Our community has grown to about 1,000 members, which is double what we were at last year. That means there are more opportunities than ever to network, cowork, and make new friends, no matter which Outsite location you head to.
